Assistance Program for Nonprofits

Founded in 1979, MAP, The Management Assistance Program for Nonprofits, is a nonprofit management support agency that provides affordable consulting, leadership and technical assistance to other charitable nonprofit organizations.

MAP hosts Carter McNamara's Managers' Free Library to help provide highly accessible and practical resources to managers throughout the nation. MAP's peer-based "Leaders' Circles" program is also highly accessible and practical in nature. The program is ideal for helping managers support each other to apply and learn materials from the library.

MAP and Carter McNamara hope that both the Library and Leaders' Circles can combine to spawn a large number of highly relevant, "grassroots" development programs. Hopefully, these programs will complement traditional forms of development to establish sound infrastructures and competent leaders in all organizations.
